3D computer graphics software lets the imagination run wild and then brings it to life. Blender is a toolset used to create, modify, design, and render all kinds of characters, animations, and special effects that can be used in art, production, and video games. But for these ideas to come to life requires more than just a design.
The Blender test for 3D computer graphics designers will evaluate the extent of a candidate's knowledge within Blender. These questions will test how well the tools are being utilized by the designer in order to create usable models and work. By focusing on all the major skill areas together, this test gives an indication of a candidate’s strengths using Blender and what their finished work would be like.
Candidates who perform well on the Blender software skills test have a high level of understanding of Blender basics, modelling and texturing, rigging and animating, and lighting and rendering. The test questions ensure that candidates have the knowledge of Blender required to carry out any given task from start to finish.
Creative director and Blender expert Karl has been working in the 3D computer graphics industry for over eight years. After getting his bachelor’s degree in applied arts in 3D animation, he began working as a junior 3D modeler and worked his way up to starting his own studio in the 3D and graphic design industry.
One of the things Karl enjoys the most about doing 3D animation is being able to bring a creative touch to the projects he and his team are involved in and to give life to clients' idea

Any tool can have functions—bells and whistles. Not every tool comes armed with staff passionate about making the user experience positive.
The TestGorilla team only offers useful insights to user challenges, they engage in conversation.
For instance, I recently asked a question about a Python test I intended to implement. Instead of receiving “oh, that test would work perfectly for your solution,” or, “at this time we’re thinking about implementing a solution that may or may not…” I received a direct and straightforward answer with additional thoughts to help shape the solution.
I hope that TestGorilla realizes the value proposition in their work is not only the platform but the type of support that’s provided.
For a bit of context—I am a diversity recruiter trying to create a platform that removes bias from the hiring process and encourages the discovery of new and unseen talent.
