This Culture add test assesses how a candidate’s values and behaviors align with your organization's values and the behaviors that would make your ideal hire successful in a specific role, based on a customized survey you fill out.
All job roles. Whether you’re a rising startup or an enterprise-level organization, developing and maintaining a strong culture provides one of the greatest competitive advantages you can have on the market. This Culture add test will help you map the way.
All successful companies have one thing in common: a strong culture. Culture is not about the fancy office, the ping-pong table, or the colorful co-creation rooms. Culture is what people do when nobody is looking. It’s the sum of all individual behaviors in the organization: the habits that are formed, how people respond under pressure, what is being rewarded and celebrated, and what is being disfavored.
A strong culture acts as a powerful competitive advantage. It enables innovation, facilitates decision-making, engages employees, and attracts candidates to your open roles. Having a strong organizational culture means that the leadership of a company and its employees share the same values around work, work side by side to achieve a vision and mission they believe in, and together create a productive and rewarding workplace for all. On the contrary, companies with weak cultures experience rifts between leadership and employees, see a high turnover rate as a result of employee unhappiness, and ultimately report sinking profits.
Hiring plays a crucial role in building a high-performance culture, and this culture add test will help you identify the candidates that will help your organization thrive. The test provides insights about your candidates on two important parameters: values and behaviors. By understanding what motivates each of your candidates and how their inner drive and aspirations align with the values and needs of your organization, you can hire people who’ll not only fit in with your existing culture but will also contribute to making it better.
Since every culture is unique, we’ve designed this test to be customized precisely to your company’s values and your open role’s needs for optimum results. To set the standards for the assessment, we ask you to rate a list of values according to their importance for your culture and indicate the behaviors (such as analytical, diligent, helpful, etc.) that are important for your open role. Candidates then receive a blank survey that asks them to select the values and behaviors that matter most to them.
We then map the results of each candidate against the specification of your organization. The results of the culture add test help you understand how each candidate aligns with your organizational values and how their behaviors contribute towards what you’re looking for in a particular role so you can find the perfect hire.

Any tool can have functions—bells and whistles. Not every tool comes armed with staff passionate about making the user experience positive.
The TestGorilla team only offers useful insights to user challenges, they engage in conversation.
For instance, I recently asked a question about a Python test I intended to implement. Instead of receiving “oh, that test would work perfectly for your solution,” or, “at this time we’re thinking about implementing a solution that may or may not…” I received a direct and straightforward answer with additional thoughts to help shape the solution.
I hope that TestGorilla realizes the value proposition in their work is not only the platform but the type of support that’s provided.
For a bit of context—I am a diversity recruiter trying to create a platform that removes bias from the hiring process and encourages the discovery of new and unseen talent.
