Product managers and anyone else who is responsible for product development within an organization
A product manager is ultimately responsible for the development of products for an organization. The product manager is involved in the day-to-day functioning of the product team, and must adapt to the needs of the development process to lead the team, depending on the details of the product, the stage of development, and the makeup of the product team.
Although product managers and product owners can have some overlapping responsibilities within an agile development framework, product managers can be distinguished by their strategic focus and wider perspective of the product within a company and market. Although this hiring test includes questions related to agile development essentials, the scope of this test exceeds just agile development to encompass a more holistic product view.
This Product Management test assesses candidates’ knowledge of and skills related to the entire product lifecycle function, from product ideation and market research to design and execution. With each question, the candidate is put in a scenario that requires knowledge and skills of product management frameworks and processes to arrive at the correct action to take.
Candidates who do well on this test have a strong grasp of how to drive the entire product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.

Any tool can have functions—bells and whistles. Not every tool comes armed with staff passionate about making the user experience positive.
The TestGorilla team only offers useful insights to user challenges, they engage in conversation.
For instance, I recently asked a question about a Python test I intended to implement. Instead of receiving “oh, that test would work perfectly for your solution,” or, “at this time we’re thinking about implementing a solution that may or may not…” I received a direct and straightforward answer with additional thoughts to help shape the solution.
I hope that TestGorilla realizes the value proposition in their work is not only the platform but the type of support that’s provided.
For a bit of context—I am a diversity recruiter trying to create a platform that removes bias from the hiring process and encourages the discovery of new and unseen talent.
